Merry go round the world

Well, I got lucky and found one of the last free tour spaces to visit Fraser Island this week 😁 this meant packing my stuff and head off to Noosa Heads today to catch the tour tomorrow morning. Therefore I spend the day with moving up the coast and getting a security briefing for tomorrow 😳 really curious about the tour now if there is a security briefing needed 😁 Anyhow I… Read More

What an amazing evening! I have a huge Raclette belly!! But it was amazing good!  I finally had the so much missed Swiss cheese in the version of Raclette 😇😍😇  Thanks Kevin & Hazel 😇😘

We do have October 23 and Singapore is already busy with getting ready for Christmas 🎄!  I have to say – even though I am used to it from Miami – with a temperature of around 30 C and not even November … it feels a tiny bit strange 😁 But well, it looks nice 😁

My biggest souvenir from Thailand is approved 😀 actually the biggest souvenir ever! 😂 Well, it should have been ‚only‘ two weeks of elephant volunteering in thailand … no big traveling around or anything else was planned… In the end I ended up with: 1 week volunteering by the elephants, 1 week of volunteering with dogs … and a new love called Joli 😀 🐶 The little one will come to Switzerland… Read More

Read More

We beseech you, oh Lord, to see that our plane is not hijacked, our luggage is not lost and our overweight baggage goes unnoticed. Protect us from surly and unscrupulous taxi drivers, avaricious porters and unlicensed English-speaking guides. Give… Read More

So, now it happened the 3rd time today > this is really worth a post … What do you expect when ordering a Thai Icetea, Cafe Americano or a blended Cappuccino? I in fact a normal size cafe as I know it from back home (and in a lot of other places too). Chiang Mai’s drinks beets them all … 😁 And they were all fantastic in taste (and size) 😂😁

To get to my next part of my journey I took a 12h night ride by train to Chiang Mai. A really cool experience. And have to say quite comfortable… 😁  I left Bangkok at 6pm from the Hua Lamphong Railway Station. As waiting on the train to leave I witnessed a photo shoot of a wedding- quite surprising for me ☺️   I can not say that this is a very… Read More

I did not expect to find so many unique cafes in seoul. But while strolling through the streets you can see on all corners cafes … ‘heaven’ for cafe lovers 😁 I tried out nice, cute or/and curious looking ones … but as said … there are so many more theme-cafes in the city … it would take years to try them out all without getting an cafe overdose …. Coffee TeaCher… Read More

Kind of a must see in Busan! This mountainside slum got an arty makeover in 2009 – now also called Machu Picchu of Korea.  The colorful village invits to stroll around and enjoy the great views (is for sure also better when the weather is more sunny 😁)  In the little streets you will discover always something new, such as mural paintings, souvenir shops, cafés etc.  Greats place to spend your time… Read More
