Day 54 – Yarra Valley

My last day trip in this sense before leaving Australia … (the other days actually should be a bit slowed down … but let’s see ๐Ÿ˜ )

Anyway, I took the train to the Yarra Valley to visit friends I met 4 years ago on my travels in Ecuador – Bree and Jessy.

They drove with me a bit through the valley before we visited the Healesville Sanctuary. Well, as I am – I just love to see all those animals ๐Ÿ˜ most of them I even saw in the wild ๐Ÿ˜

For lunch we went to ‘Innocent Bystander’ which also has their own wine ๐Ÿท I assume, Bree had her most expensive cheese here ๐Ÿ˜‚ – for two slices of cheese: 18$! Well, at least the cheese was good…

I did some wine testing too – all were very nice! So I ended up buying a small bottle of moscato.

After the winery we actually wanted to go to a brewery… somehow the brewery turned out to be a gin distillery … ๐Ÿ˜

They really had great gin – just ended up with a bloody shiraz Gin bottle for my Christmas eve in Chiang Mai๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜
