Day 51/52 – Kangaroo Island
The last two days I was on a tour on Kangaroo Island – the third largest island of Australia.
As I arrived on the Island by ferry the adventure tour started 😁
Our first stop was Rob‘s shearing & sheep dogs were we got a live demonstration of shearing 👍🏼
The next big stop was Seal Bay. We saw the Australian Seals of which these days only a 10‘000 existing. We got a lot of interesting inputs about their habitats and behavior.
A bit later we tried out Sand-boarding at Little Sahara. Some of our group did fantastic … I had my little issues with it 😁 but nevertheless it was a lot of fun!
On the next day we looked out for more Koalas 🐨 and Kangaroos as well as for the fur seal! And guess .. we were super lucky with finding all of them 😁
Anyway the Island is super beautiful! We saw a lot of nice beaches, great rock formations and a lot of plants, trees etc.
On top we had a great group, a fantastic guide and good weather! 😁
