Well, after 12h night bus and another 2h train trip I arrived at the Blue Mountains… First thing to do … coffee infusion needed! Happy that this is a easy task here ๐Ÿ˜ After checking in at my hostel for the next three nights I just relax, get some information for tomorrow’s little hike and will stroll through the tiny village/city … <<<< I already can tell after my short impression here:… Read More

Well, my room mates were/are a bit chaotic. I really had to figure out first, where I can put my bag pack … ๐Ÿ˜‚ << yway, to wake up literally next to the ocean is just great! To get my body moving I attended a Yoga class – I thought just give it a try again … was actually quite good and I felt much more energized ๐Ÿ˜ After a short breakfast… Read More

Hopp on the bus … stay in it for round 3h and you get off at Bonday Beach! Beach, Surfing, Party, Hippies… I would say this is the main groove here ๐Ÿ˜

How fast time goes…. already back in Brisbane for a couple of days! Actually Brisbane is a lovely city! The river through Brisbane is a huge plus and invites to walk along. People are easy going and very friendly. According my opinion it’s absolutely worth to spend some easy going days in Brisbane ๐Ÿ˜ Therefore it was a perfect place for having a couple of ‘normal’ days and enjoy the time ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ… Read More

Already our last day on Fraser Island! … so our main thing was actually driving back to Noosa. However, first we made a short bush walk (2.5km one way) to Lake Wabby and spent some time chilling out there before leaving the Island. Well, back at the hostel we enjoyed our selves and attended the ‘welcome back party’ … somehow I felt a bit reminded at my school parties 20 years ago… Read More

Heading from Eurong Beach Resort up the Beach …. First stop was Eli Creek. Incredible clear little refreshing fresh water creek which ends in the sea. Second spot was Champagne Pool – our farthest point up north we went on Fraser Island. We were quite lucky too and saw also a little puppy Dingo on our way up. While heading back, we stopped at Indian Head for a little climb up the… Read More

Well, after I arrived yesterday in Noosa I met surprisingly my friend Hariette from the Uluru trip at the hostel … and, as small as Australia is, … we are also on the same tour ๐Ÿ˜ Anyway, the tour started today … the forecast was rain … which we also had, till we arrived at rainbow beach … <<<<< terwards we had a great day driving on the island over the beach… Read More

Well, I got lucky and found one of the last free tour spaces to visit Fraser Island this week ๐Ÿ˜ this meant packing my stuff and head off to Noosa Heads today to catch the tour tomorrow morning. Therefore I spend the day with moving up the coast and getting a security briefing for tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜ณ really curious about the tour now if there is a security briefing needed ๐Ÿ˜ Anyhow I… Read More

The sun is back! So, I packed my daypack and headed to see some Koalas and other native animals in Australia… A good place to do so (a bit cheating though) is the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary a bit outside of Brisbane. Beside the famous Koalas they also have Dingos, Birds, Sheeps, Kangaroos, Wombats, Tasmanian Devil, Snakes, etc. … Afterwards I just did a little detour to Mt Cootha to catch an… Read More

So, now it also caught me! Rainy days and the forecast is not overwhelming either ๐Ÿ˜ข Anyway, just spend some time catching up with planning for my next days … and strolled around the West End neighborhood of Brisbane, took the free CityHopper Ferry to see the city from another perspective, visited the Botanical Garden and enjoyed some coffee brakes ๐Ÿ˜ just easy going days ๐Ÿ˜
